I have had a few dogs over the years, and a wonderful dog walker to help me when I can't walk them myself. Gerry has a whimsical writing style, and over time we developed a repartee where he would report on a walk from the dog's point of view and I would illustrate his comments.
By the time Dobby and Louie came into my life in 2014 (Dobby a rescue, and Louie a pup), their characters sprung from my pen with a life of their own.
